RESIDENTS ADVISED TO ENSURE CARS ARE LOCKED AT NIGHT
Residents of Meadow Lane have reported a spate of break-ins to unlocked cars during the early hours of the morning over the last couple of weeks. So far, we believe, nothing of great value has been stolen, nor real damage done. The thief simply opens the car door and rummages around in glove boxes and elsewhere inside the car. The incidents have been reported to Thames Valley Police via 101 and online. Crime reference numbers have been given: 43260073763 from 101 and BCA-8989-26-4343-IR for the online report. TVP will report to a neighbourhood police officer and we expect to hear back in the next few days. Please report any further similar incidents to TVP. In the meantime residents are advised to ensure that they leave their cars LOCKED at night and with no valuables inside.
