Iffley Turn new Side Road Entry treatment (South side)

On 12 March, FOIV held a very well-attended Public Meeting at the Mercure Hawkwell House Hotel (who kindly donated the venue). Present were around 75 members of the public, County Councillors and the responsible Council officers. The officers fielded many questions from the public.

We have heard back from the officers that “snagging issues” are booked from 30 March to 9 April across both Banbury and Iffley roads. This includes the 20mm lip (across a number of sites) and the grounding issue at Iffley Turn.

FOIV has sent the officers a summary of the problems that were discussed on the 12th and has requested a response to solutions proposed. We expect that will be after the Council has reviewed the result of a safety audit that is being done for them by a third party. We will post further updates when known.
